Sun Aug 18th: 2nd day (part2) to Kangaroo Island

This is part 2 of day 2 at Kangaroo Island!

So after the Lighthouse we went to the parking at the Visitor Centre of the "Flinders Chase National Park", where there was also a space to cook food.
It was around 10:15 when we started our +-2h "Platypus Waterholes Walk".
While we did the walk, our guid cooked the food for us.

So after this it was time for some food, thank you Craig for the great food:

After dinner we spotted some (2) Koalas in the trees nearby

After this we made our way back towards the ferry with a few more stops to take some more pictures:

While waiting to be able to board the ferry, we still had to move our gear into the luggage-van. While a few of us were on the beach, a few others were inside the shop, and our guide was still walking back from parking the bus away. So I loaded the gear all by myself (which was ok for me).

Even with the little rain we had, I had a very great time.
Your talks about diving have made me considdering to go some diving. Only hoping I have enough time for it. Because the end of my vacation is coming very near.
