Thursday August 15th: Hahndorf - Mitcham

I was thinking of getting the camper in a day earlier, but eventually just choose a camping place a little bit closer to Adelaide. even though this new camping place was like only 30 min away from the camping in Hahndorf. Once there I looked what I could do, and eventually took a walking trail that was passing the camping. Here are some pictures of it.

On the way to the top:

A little bit further was this info bord:
(so my current location was to the left top)

If you look to the right of me you'll see the high buildings of Adelaide.
(for this picture I was only half way on the path going from left top towards right bottom)

Here are some pictures at an even higher point, if you would merge them together would kind of get a 360° picture.
(for this picture I was a little bit past the T going towards right up)

And here I was at the right up part of that map.

The walk to this point was long, and steep. At times I think it was close to a 30-35° angle (if not closer towards the 40°).
It was a hard and long walk when not being prepared for such a walk. But it was worth it anyway.
Lesson: Always make sure you have at least 1 bottle of water when you are starting a hike. Especially if you don't know how long it will be!
After I got back at my camper I went to get me some food and drinks (because I was empty at that) and drank a bottle of 0,5l water within 5 min in 3 times or so while waiting for my large pizza...
